Hey, friend!

Almost 20 years ago, I moved from Accra, Ghana to the Bronx, USA to live with my parents who had immigrated almost a decade earlier. My debut poetry book, ‘Should I Return’ (edited by Kobbyben Gyampoh) is a reflection on what became of that journey from Ghana to the US then back to Ghana.

Whilst I had no part in the decision to move from Ghana when I was 10, I consciously decided to stay in Accra at the age of 25. I wrote about the motivation behind this decision in early 2017 here. Since then, I have written over 100 articles about African history, culture, and business on my blog and on Face2FaceAfrica. I am excited to continue on this course of reflection and knowledge sharing through my debut poetry book, and I will be sure to keep you abreast of other writing projects I have in the works.
